GwD reviewed in Canadian ‘Zine
Broken Pencil, a Canadian ‘zine about ‘zines, reviewed GwD (along with several other e-zines) in issue #24. Check out the review here. Lobo Licious was horribly misquoted, but that’s okay. He does take offense, though, at the insinuation that he is “constantly looking for ways to downgrade the writing and layout of GwD.” Writing, maybe. Layout, never!
This is a great quote, though: “Believe me, Greeny [sic] is a zine to inflict wounds upon your sense of decency.”
Yes indeed!

version 5.0 of GwDweb
A new, uniform-looking version of GwDweb (designed using Movable Type) is unveiled. The people rejoice.
Features: You can still read all of the files, listen to all of the mp3s, leech all of the warez, and ogle all of the pics…but now you can comment on all of them. That’s right, tell us what you think about each and every piece of crap we’ve released in the last 10+ years.
Yes, it’s the same crap you know and love, but it’s in a more attractive package…and it’s user friendly!
But wait, there’s more!
GwDweb is now conveniently searchable. Also, there are thumbnails for the photos and artwork. There’s also GwaDBlog — your source for news and links, guaranteed to waste your time. And don’t forget to check out the GwD Store!
You can thank us later.
This is just the latest example of our dedication to bring you all the best in absolute crap.
—————
[Why are we using Movable Type, an application somewhat similar to XMLJourn (one of the fine GwDwarez), as the content management system for GwDweb?
Well, to quote Run-DMC (“Simmons Incorporated,” to be exact):
“People wanna know why I ain’t on my brother’s label
If I did this whole rap game be unstable.”
It’s exactly like that.]
